Massage can be beneficial for any individual from infancy to adulthood and into the senior years of life. Many pregnant women find massage to be a great relief during their later months of pregnancy. Most individuals find relief from the stresses of life that have taken a toll on their bodies. Normally, massage helps an individual relax, increases circulation, eases pain, improves immune system functioning, promotes general health and feels great.

There are some times, however, when massage is not a positive thing, such as when you have a health condition that can be aggravated by massage.
